Introduction - Ecuadorian Andean

The Ecuadorian Andes are characterized by their impressive mountainous elevations, volcanoes and snowy peaks.
Among the most important are the Cotopaxi and the Chimborazo.
Its ten provinces have cities of great historical importance such as Quito and Cuenca, and craft centers such as Otavalo.
Likewise, there are several national parks with very rich and varied flora and fauna. In this region warm, temperate and cold zones coexist.
Its inter-Andean region presents valleys of different altitudes and climates. In Quito, the capital of Ecuador, the Tababela International Airport operates, the main gateway to the country.
