Otavalo Market and Lake Cuicocha (1 day-daily).

Departure from Quito, taking the Panamericana to the town of Calderón, a small town approximately 10km north of Quito. Calderón is a center famous for the art of figures made in marzipan.

Continuing we will pass by the first monument of half of the world, to arrive at Cayambe very important for its Milky industry. Arrival to the town of Otavalo where the most traditional indigenous market in this region takes place.

After a few minutes it is possible to visit the town of Cotacachi and visit the stores that offer all kinds of articles made of leather. At a short distance is the Cuicocha lagoon, from a viewpoint you can enjoy a view of the lagoon that rests in the Crater of an ancient volcano.

Return to the city of Quito.
