Zumbahua Highland

Exit towards the south passing through the city of Latacunga, continuing then towards the Indigenous town of Zumbahua.

This trip ascends the central mountain range and offers a typical landscape of the Andean páramos.
A few minutes you can visit the Quilotoa lagoon located in the crater of an ancient volcano, its sulphurous waters do not allow any kind of life to exist in this lagoon.

From the viewpoint you can see the entire crater and also enjoy the handicrafts of the place, the Tigua paintings hand made by the Indians in sheepskin.
